A few months ago, Kendall was ever so helpful in modeling & pretending to be a bride for the day for a candlelit styled shoot at Weiser Classic Candies. Part of her payment was getting to do an entire shoot of her choice -- which means that I basically just got to hang out with the coolest person while taking pictures in overalls, rollerskates, and Beatles shirts while drinking milkshakes and playing old school video games. I loved that Kendall let me take creative license in using smoke bombs and weird lighting. This is the type of shoot that gives me life, that makes me laugh, and that makes me go, "Dude, you're gonna love this."
Our locations included the Shopko parking lot, the SpaceBar (which is a super cool bar in downtown Boise that is home to a bunch of old arcade games like Space Invaders and PacMan), and the Westside Drive-In. I loved getting to play with the bright colors and odd light refractions -- refractions curtesy of a kaleidescope-esque cup I found at the Youth Ranch for $0.67. Milkshakes and cheeseburgers were an obvious addition to this already amazing shoot that embraces a 50's nostalgia with an 80's kick.
I hope you enjoy a little BTS plus some killer photos of an awesome person.
